This visa allows the holder to work for the approved company in Belgium.
A job offer and sponsorship is required from a company in Belgium to apply for this visa.
This visa is only good for the job in the designated company and is not transferable.
If the holder wishes to work for another company then another application for a work permit specific to the new company has to be applied for.
Note: This employment permit is only granted when it is impossible to find an employee on the labour market in Belgium and EU who is capable to fill the vacant position in a satisfactory way and within a reasonable time.

- A passport with at least 12 months validity.
- Two application forms, signed and dated by the applicant.
- Original work permit obtained by the Belgium-based employer.
- A Police Clearance Certificate not older than 6 months covering records for the last 5 years in original.
- Visa fee of 90 Euros.

The spouse of the visa holder will have the right to work in Belgium through the application of a separate visa.
This visa can be granted initially up to a period of 1 year and can be renewed.

The following types of workers are eligible for this visa:
Highly qualified worker: Applicants with a higher education degree and their yearly gross salary in Belgium is higher than 35, 638 EUR.
Managerial post: Applicants with yearly gross salary in Belgium higher than 59, 460 EUR.
Note: This visa does not depend on the situation on the labour market and so can be granted without the need for the employer to advertise and search for candidates in Belgium or EU.
